I have a burning sensation contained by the upper left member of my back. It comes and go. It has be going on for about 3 days immediately. I just required to know what could be the reasons for the buring throbbing. Hi Dee
It could be a few things, all usually minor. Indigestion can incentive pain surrounded by your upper back and the stomach when you hold a cold drink can trigger it off.
Your diaphragm also refers stomach-ache to your upper back an dcold liquid going passed it can also cause a bit of extra referral. Your esophaugs runs through your diaphragm as it enter the stomach.
Also upper back muslces and joint may be causing it and you may consequently aggravate it by the things above.
All are minor and there are a few things you can do to reduce it quickly. There are Acupressure points to allay the indigestion and diaphragm, exercises for your back and a few others.

My mom have this problem for a time (the drinking something cold and having the burning and pain) shortly after her mastectomy for breast cancer and we asked the doctor going on for that and they said that this can be due to hyperactivity of the nerve as the nouns tried to heal.
I would recommend checking near your doctor as well to see what they right to be heard.
