techniques,risk assessments etc when moving & handling? If you are referring to a works / company 'Lifting and Handling policy' later follow that policy (if at work) even if you you think its wrong ( or basically completely refuse ). If you injure yourself or any one else and you enjoy followed procedure to the letter next the company is responsible, if not, consequently you can kiss goodbye to any compo, or you will have a engagement to get any.
