I have a line of 4 including myself. We are all good with no foremost medical needs. My company offer 3 coverages. All of which include dental coverages. An EPO at $160/month, a PPO at $196/month and a PPO at $80/month. All coverages are provided by United Healthcare.
I think an EPO is similar to an HMO but I'm not sure on the differences between them.
Being that cost is not an issue for myself, which would you choose if you be in my shoes and considered necessary the best coverages for your family? An EPO is in reality somewhat of a comprimise between HMO and PPO. An EPO has exclusive coverage inside usually one particular make friends. ...I have one. I work for a hospital lattice. As long as I use that hospital network, I win 100% hospitalization coverage. Yet, what is good almost an EPO is you CAN get coverage at other services. I get 70% at other hospitals in BCBS, but can still get 50% coverage at non contracted hospitals.
An HMO is somewhat more stringent...usually offering no coverage outside the network.
A PPO is more liberal...allowing you access to any facility, but better deal at certain ones.
...The EPO lies somewhat right contained by the middle. If you use mainly that hospital lattice, it's a good deal.
