i got this cut on my knuckle from an oatmeal box the other year. it wasn't red or anything at first. then it get red like the sunshine after and is red now. looks close to there's dry blood filling the vent. but it didn't bleed. or maybe its of late darker red inside. it hurts when i rub something against it but i'm sure anything on my hand would hurt. hard to bring up to date if it's closed up or not. tempted to ice pack it tomorrow so i can work easier. just curious to what i should be looking out for. Swelling, high temperature, red, painful, not medicinal, foul odor, and/or pus filled/covered.
IF it feels thaw, it is for sure infected, or if it swells up a little and feel tender. If you want to, soak in the tub or at most minuscule soak your hand within warm hose down, then cleanse it next to hydrogen peroxide. It will clean it out. Then apply triple antibiotic ointment. If it does not improve, you will involve to see the Doctor.
