Water contained by ear?

I have a cough, and I be drinking some water, and i presume some water go into my ear is that even possible? If so how can i get it out next to out having a earache? if you perceive like near is water inside your ear, pour a capfull of rubbing alcohol contained by it; the alcohol dries up the water and comes right rear out when you tilt your head spinal column the other way (i did this within water polo when i get water contained by my ears- it worked everytime) good lick!
