Im on a very mild anguish killer for scoliosis..Darvocet. 11 Days ago my doctor give me a prescription of 40 pills. On the bottle it says give somebody a lift 1 pill every 6 hours as needed for pain. I took it every 6 hours (about 4 a day) and Im out. Is it too soon to ask for a fill? I dont want him to think i am abuse them. I asked him about a week ago for something stronger because the Darvocets kinda suck & dont do much at adjectives but he said no. So what do yall think? If your aching is constant, you should see a pain regulation specialist. Most doctors fear giving out controlled subtances on a regular principle, even the relatively mild ones. Pain specialists are experts in treating twinge, and have other tools at their disposal than systemic drugs resembling darvocet. Regular doctors risk being sued for totalling or investigated for what appears to be a questionable amount of controlled substances.
Because of the pain you are have it is not too soon to ask for a refill. Most doctors digit that you will use the 4 pills each hours of daylight.
